Woodstock co-founder and partner Michael Lang will sit for a keynote interview at this year’s Live Music Summit BBLMS

Festival co-founder and producer for Woodstock 50 to sit with Billboard's Dave Brooks Nov. 5 in Los Angeleswill sit for a keynote interview at this year’s Live Music Summit, Nov. 5-6 in Beverly Hills, with Billboard's senior director for live and touring, "Having Michael Lang at the Billboard Live Music Summit is a really big deal," Brooks says.

Lang was one of the organizers of the 1969 Woodstock festival in Bethel, New York, captured in the iconic Warner Brothers documentary and live soundtrack. Lang also helped organized anniversary festivals in 1994 and 1999 and was the driving force behind Woodstock 50, an anniversary concert set for upstate New York that ultimately did not come to fruition.

The 2019 Billboard Live Music Summit and Awards is the music industry's top touring conference and a must-attend event for anyone working in live entertainment. Set at the Montage in Beverly Hills, the conference features two days of high-level panels, artist interviews and executive Q&As with some of the biggest names in music, comedy and live entertainment. Additional speakers and panelists will be announced in the coming days.
