Last month, police said a 33-year-old man had been arrested after allegedly setting a woman on fire on a city bus in what was being called a suspected hate crime. Police alleged a man poured a liquid substance on a woman shortly after noon that day and then lit the liquid on fire. Tenzin Norbu of Toronto was charged with attempted murder, assault with a weapon, common nuisance endangering the lives, safety or health of the public, and mischief over $5000 interfering with property.This report by The Canadian Press was first published July 5, 2022
