After more than two years of neighbors complaining about foul odors, police in London discovered the remains of a deceased woman in her apartment.
Police discovered the skeletal remains of a 61-year-old woman after several of her neighbors had been complaining about smells coming from her apartment since October 2019, according to the Daily Mail. Upon breaking down the door, police found a woman who was"basically a skeleton" and requested that a neighbor confirm her identity, the neighbor told the outlet.
As mail began to pile up and the woman owed more and more in rent payments, her neighbors became increasingly more worried, even after there was a forced entry attempt on the apartment in 2020 for a gas check, according to the outlet.
