Tereyl Devon Coleman, 29, was arrested after Raven Coleman was found dead with a gunshot wound to the chest in the driveway of a residence in Detroit.
Police officers arrived at a residence in the 12250 block of Wayburn Avenue in Detroit at around 3.20 a.m. on Saturday morning in response to a domestic dispute.
The prosecutor's office said an alleged verbal argument between the couple escalated and Tereyl Coleman fired a handgun, fatally shooting the woman. "She needed me and I wish I could have answered the phone because she would have been here right now," Rayford toldRayford said her friend was due to get married next summer and they had recently gone shopping for wedding dresses.Rayford added:"Not only did kids lose their mother, but she was a daughter, a cousin, a friend."posts, shared the day before she died.
