A woman was found dead with an apparent gunshot wound inside an northwest Harris County apartment Thursday.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said it happened at the apartment located in the 5800 block of W. Mount Houston Rd.CSI & Homicide Investigators are responding to an apartment unit at 5800 W. Mount Houston Rd. An older adult , with an apparent gunshot wound, was found deceased.Right now, the sheriff’s office hasn’t released any more details about the shooting, but an investigator at the scene did say they suspect foul play was involved.
