A woman was fatally shot Sunday morning while in a vehicle outside a house party.
A woman was fatally shot early Sunday outside a southeast Houston house party, according to officials from the Houston Police Department.
Officers arrived at the scene around 1 a.m. and found the woman in a vehicle, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. She was unresponsive and taken from the house party in the 6400 block of Stratton to a hospital where she later died, a Houston detective told Metro Video Services.Police spoke with witnesses at the scene but the motive for the shooting was unknown as of early Sunday. The shooter remained at large.
