Accused released on an appearance notice
A 44-year-old woman has been charged with operating a vehicle while impaired, according to a news release from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Patrol Services.
On Dec.2 at 4 p.m. officers responded to reports of a possible impaired driver. Officers conducted an investigation at a residence in the 0-100 block of Valhalla Place, the release stated. Police believed they had grounds to conclude the accused was operating a motor vehicle while their ability to do so was impaired by alcohol. Officers arrested the accused, who later provided two breath samples, registering two fail results.
Charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration is Amy McMillan, the release said.
