Pack trailing Peterborough two games to none in best-of-seven series
The Sudbury Wolves are looking to get a couple back when their first-round playoff series against the Peterborough Petes continues at Sudbury Arena tonight and tomorrow.The Wolves are trailing the Petes two games to none in this best-of-seven series, which kicked off March 30 in Peterborough. That game ended 4-2 for Peterborough.
Game 2 on March 31 was a close one with the Wolves ultimately losing 2-1. Goaltender Kevyn Brassard was stellar in net, stopping 51 shots and claiming 3rd star on March 31. “As the series moves to Sudbury this week, the Wolves need the community’s support more than ever,” the team said in a news release. “Bring the noise and energy this week when the PACK battles it out and look to even out the series on home ice.”
The first 500 fans in attendance on Tuesday and Wednesday will receive thundersticks to help cheer on the team. Tuesday night’s game is sponsored by Legend Boats. Rewind 103.9 is the Wednesday game sponsor. Tickets for both playoff games are on sale now at the Sudbury Arena box office.
