Ottawa gets 4-0 shutout win over Sudbury on Sunday afternoon
The Sudbury Wolves were back on the ice at home on Sunday afternoon against the Ottawa 67s looking to get some revenge after losing 5-2 to the same 67s team just a few nights prior. It didn’t take long for Ottawa to take the lead, as Brady Stonehouse scored his first goal of the season just 2:12 into the opening period of play.
Ottawa got some insurance early in the middle frame as Luca Pinelli scored his fifth of the year to extend Ottawa’s lead to 2-0 just over two minutes into the second period. The third period was filled with chances on both sides, as both goalies showed why they are amongst the top goalies in the Ontario Hockey League, until Cooper Foster scored his first goal of the season to make the score 4-0 for the 67s, which turned out to be the final score in this one.
