It was a tight game, but the Wolves came out with an NHL advantage, defeating the Owen Sound Attack 3-2 in overtime during their Oct. 13 home game.
Jakub Vondras was the starting goaltender for Sudbury, while Carter George was in net for Owen Sound. Despite both teams having plenty of chance throughout the rest of the period, both teams went into the dressing for the intermission with Owen Sound leading 1-0 over the Wolves. Less than five minutes later, Djibril Toure, returning to the lineup for the first time this season, scored his first goal of the season to cut Owen Sound’s lead to 2-1.
