Sudbury puts up nine goals to defeat Niagara 9-2
The Sudbury Wolves continued their high goal scoring output from a night prior on Saturday night as they took on the Niagara IceDogs.
Neither team could break through the goalies until the 11:12 mark of the opening period when Urban Podrekar scored his third goal of the season to tie the game up for Niagara at 1-1. Kocha Delic continued his hot streak at the 8:29 mark of the second period, with his fifth goal in two games, giving the Sudbury Wolves a 3-2 lead.
At the 3:42 mark of the third period the Wolves padded their lead to 6-2 with Landon McCallum’s 21 st goal of the season.
