The latest shooting incident happened around 9:20 p.m. Sunday on the inbound Eisenhower near Western Avenue.
-- Memorial Day Weekend is one of the busiest travel weekends of the year - and just in time for it, we are following another shooting on Chicago-area expressways.on the Eisenhower Expressway in weeks. CBS 2's Tara Molina brought the latest developments to experts.
The eastbound lanes of the expressway were closed during following the shooting, but all were reopened by 1 a.m. Monday. "The frequency of these shootings is really what's alarming to people," Schwieterman said."We are seeing a pattern here - and it's starting to affect decisions, how people drive; when they come in the city. All that weighs on our economy; our people."rolling on Chicago expressways right now.
But this year, Schwieterman says the three very recent shootings need to be taken seriously - and not just by police.
