Money Hunter is out long term with torn pec muscle, Josh Valentine\u002DTurner, who went to same high school as Jakob Chychrun, could get a shot.

“It’s a small world. We’re not super, super close, he’s a bit older than me, but and I know each other, we’re cool,” Valentine-Turner said. “He’s a really good kid. We have a lot of mutual friends.”

“We’ve got a lot of really good young DBs who are playing well and I can attribute it to our coach and our vets,” Valentine-Turner said. “They want to help us understand the nuances of the game. You hear stories, so sometimes you’re a little apprehensive to ask . Here you didn’t even have to ask, help is offered. With the vets, don’t second guess yourself. See it, believe it, trust yourself.

“Camp is where we see what guys can do. A lot of guys are standing out. We’re still not where we want to be, we’re never satisfied. When the lights come on, that’s when I want to see what happens. It’s a chance for guys to go out there and show what they can do. If I’m a young guy, I’m smiling because I want this opportunity and the veteran guys will be pushing them. We’re a tight-knit group back there. We’re just going to go out and play ball.
