Your WRTV Storm Team forecast for Central Indiana: Scattered snow showers could reduce visibility Monday.
Well, winter doesn’t officially end until early next week. It seems the season is trying to hold on as long as possible with a winter chill.
We could see a few additional rain or snow showers overnight. Little to no additional snow accumulation is expected. Temperatures take a trip into the middle and upper 20s. Although our average high is 50 degrees, we won’t even come close to that number Monday. The best we’ll do will be warming into the middle and upper 30s. Throw in a west breeze, and it’s going to feel more like the teens and 20s all day. You can also expect to see some scattered snow showers through the day. Some bursts of snow could lead to quick drops in visibility at times. Accumulations should stay around a half inch or less.
We really don’t see much of a warming trend until Wednesday and Thursday. Rain chances return to end the week.Monday: Cloudy and breezy with scattered snow showers. High: 37Thursday: Partly sunny. 30% chance of showers. High: 58
