Trains between Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal were cancelled on Christmas Day and Monday. Via said trains would return on a modified scheduled on Tuesday. “It was really beautiful, first just the walk across the bridge and seeing all the Christmas lights all across Ottawa. There was a church choir singing carols and during the service the priest held a prayer for the first responders, the people stuck on the highways or stuck on trains.
