New executive chef owns neighboring Willow Glen restaurant.
Hisham Abdelfattah, owner of El Halal Amigos restaurant in Willow Glen, is joining the Willow Street Pizza team ahead of the 30th anniversary of its Los Gatos location on Nov. 8. The new executive chef and partner says his goal is to revitalize the Willow Street Pizza brand. Willow Street Pizza, a mainstay in San Jose’s Willow Glen neighborhood since 1991, is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its second location in Los Gatos with a new executive chef and partner.
“Guests can continue to expect high-quality food and a family-friendly environment, but I look forward to refreshing the brand with seasonal specials and restaurant renovations,” he said in a statement. As for Abdelfattah, Rathmann said, “I have the utmost confidence that he will take Willow Street Pizza to the next level.”
