CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Cavs will be without their entire projected starting lineup for Monday night’s third preseason game against Israeli team Maccabi Ra’Anana.
All four went through Monday morning’s shootaround without issue and there is no concern for injury. It’s just a scheduled rest night ahead of Friday’s preseason finale in Indiana -- a game the Cavs may use as a regular season dress rehearsal.How is the Cavs’ offense progressing in the preseason? That foursome will join center Jarrett Allen on the sideline Monday night. Allen remains out because of a bone bruise in his left ankle that has cost him most of training camp and all of the preseason thus far. Allen continues to make steady progress and has been doing work on the team’s gravity treadmill. While there’s still no official determination on his status for the opener, Allen is set to be re-evaluated this weekend and the team is hopeful he will be ready.
