The abrdn director of ETF investment strategy Robert Minter , who manages the largest platinum ETF on the market, sits down withon Market Domination Overtime to explain why he views platinum as a solid investment but is skeptical that investors buying bars from Costco will see the gains.
So the belief was the drop in demand for fossil fuel driven cars would push the metals lower and the metals did, the price of the metals did get pushed lower.The difference though is that consumers um really aren't taking to electric vehicles.Volvo, Volvo down 72% even Ford, I think had higher sales, but they still managed to lose 2.5 billion on EVs in the first half.
So people need to do their homework before they buy these Costco or any other warehouse platinum bars.So while we're talking basis points in physical metal ETF S, we're talking 1000 basis points just to sell that um that, that gold or silver platinum bar from a warehouse ho from a warehouse um store.
