Every now and then a new beauty product comes out that makes so much sense you can't help but wonder,Giorgio Armani Beauty's new Luminous Silk concealerlaunched 20 years ago, and 1,000 bottles of the stuff still sell daily. Like the foundation, Luminous Silk Multi-Purpose Concealer blurs without looking makeup-y. But the concealer is thinner and more pigmented than the foundation — and also includes ingredients borrowed from skin-care, likeIt's worth noting that at 20 shades, the selection is half that of the foundation — but the range of undertones made it easy for my fellowconcealer under my eyes
and around my nose, where I'm prone to redness. It's easy to find a cover-up that can mask the discoloration, but what's not-so simple is finding one that does the job without creasing.I bet you can see where I'm going with this, but I'll spell it out anyway: Luminous Silk Multi-Purpose Concealer proved to be the magic bullet when it comes to crease-free coverage. I suspect the secret is the super-pigmented — but still lightweight — formula.
While that's all well and good, the brand bills this as a Multi-Purpose concealer, so try it for other purposes I did. I blended a lighter-than-my-usual shade of concealer on the high points of my face post-foundation, which created a subtle contour. And I used it as a lid primer before applying cream eyeshadow, which normally creases like crazy on me.
