Across the country, many parents and children are celebrating the news that kids ages 5 to 11 can now get vaccinated against Covid-19.

When 8-year-old Nate Wittenborn saw a photo of Pfizer's pediatric Covid-19 vaccine, he jumped up and down.

"I showed him the picture, and he read the box, and I think his eyes went straight to the 5- to 11-year-old ," his mom Brandy Wittenborn said. "He said, 'Wait -- wait, that's for us?' We said 'yes, it is.' And he's like, 'You mean, we're going to get the shot soon?' I said 'yes, you will.' So he's very excited.
