“I found it enjoyable because it was fun watching people get scared,” he said of his time in the haunted house. “You were in on the joke and you knew what was coming, you knew that when they had approached the board on the ground that they're all going to jump.” “For example,” he continued, “if you're putting your life on the line or doing a zip line … that is scary. But it's enjoyable because you survived it. So you might go back to it because it was so thrilling.”“It's the same thing with something like a serial killer documentary. Nobody likes serial killers, but some people find it extremely fascinating because they don't understand it,” Griffin said. “It's the same thing with horror for me.
Jones enjoys testing her limits when it comes to scary situations. “I just like being scared by things and seeing what scares me.”
