During the presidential election campaign, Joe Biden promised not to raise taxes on anyone making less than $400,000 a year. Whether these provisions in the bill survive is an open question. But here’s the thing. I’ve come to believe those calculations are moot. Most of us—including me—are almost certainly going to be way better off in a traditional IRA.
