Now, when I say “quiet,” I am using that term VERY loosely.
What I really mean is “time alone in your room where you can do what you want as long as it is safe and not against any household rules.”
But that’s a bit too much of a mouthful to say everyday. You see, quiet time is for everyone, it doesn’t matter if they don’t take naps anymore. Here are a few reasons why I am a full believer in our two hour daily break…Of course, the most obvious is that there are two little ones who still need a daily nap, and the house needs to be quiet for them to do that. In fact, my toddler needs his nap so much so that he actually asks for it and happily walks up to the pack n’ play to sleep.
