The 2025 Ohio State offensive line prospect could be the next big piece to the Buckeyes' class.
COLUMBUS, Ohio — It’s easy to see, after just a few snaps, why Ohio State is so interested in Whitmer offensive tackle Carter Lowe.
Ohio State’s next opponent features a former top-100 recruit at QB and a freshman already turning headsJim Harbaugh is underpaid again, which means it’s almost time for his annual dalliance with the NFL“I’ve probably talked to Ohio State the most, out of all the teams that are recruiting me,” Lowe said.
In the 2024 class, Ohio State has just one offensive lineman currently committed that ranks above where Lowe does in his class. In 2023, Ohio State signed Luke Montgomery and in 2022, the Buckeyes signed Tegra Tshabola to the class.Meaning that, should Lowe become a Buckeye, he would be the fourth-highest rated offensive line commit in a four-year recruiting cycle — as of current rankings.
“Just how we can build this class — I think that’s possible,” Lowe said. “Not too many people committed in the class of 2025. We’ll see, we’ll how it goes. Other people commit, I like to see how that goes...I’ll just see how it plays out.”
