Whoopi Goldberg apologized on Monday after she sparked outrage by claiming on ABC's The View that the Holocaust was 'not about race' because it's 'two white groups of people'.
Whoopi Goldberg, 66, made the comment on The View on Monday afternoon, and apologized later that evening. She said because the Nazis and Jews were 'two groups of white people', the Holocaust 'wasn't about race'. Her co-hosts were stunned by the comment and viewers were immediately outraged. Ana Navarro, Joy Behar and Sarah Haines all argued with her that it was an example of white supremacy.
