The weather is getting colder, the days shorter, football is back and holiday party season is just around the corner.As simple as chicken wings can be, not everyone wants to be bothered with making them at home. But what a party pleaser these things are! Easy to pick up and eat or pile up on a plate. Flats or drums? Yum and yum.
Cleveland.com’s ‘Best of Cleveland’ team is at it again, on the lookout for local Northeast Ohio eateries that excel at those familiar dishes that keep you coming back for more -- the kind of experience you crave and want to tell your family and friends about. What is it that makes wings so delicious? Is it a secret recipe dry rub? Or a slathering of messy sauce? Both? Neither? Something else entirely? Do you like your wings breaded? Fried or baked? Smoked? Perhaps most importantly: what establishment has the best chicken wings that Northeast Ohio has to offer?no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 16. Please keep your nominations to local establishments , even if some of you feel they may be worthy of a shout-out.
We’ll use your recommendations and compile a poll, giving you the chance to vote for those go-to spots serving up the most delicious, lick-your-fingers-clean wings in all of The Land.
