Jude Bellingham was fined €40,000 in three years ago when he made an unproven match-fixing allegation against referee Felix Zwayer following Borussia Dortmund's loss to Bayern Munich in 2021.
Felix Zwayer will take charge of England's Euro 2024 semi-final clash with the Netherlands on Wednesday evening.
Bellingham's comments referenced a case that resulted in the German official being banned for six months in 2006. Zwayer was banned after working a match alongside Robert Hoyzer in 2004. He has continuously denied being a part of Hoyzer's fix of a game between Wuppertal and Werder Bremen B in 2004, however, a DFB investigation discovered that he had accepted a payment of €300 from Hoyzer.
