KELOWNA, B.C. — The league-leading Everett Silvertips came back from a three-goal deficit to beat the Kelowna Rockets 4-3 in overtime on Sunday in the Western Hockey League.
Kaden Hammell, who earlier provided an assist, scored at 2:07 of the extra period to complete Everett's rally.
Landon DuPont, a 15-year-old defenceman who earned exceptional status to play in the WHL early, added two assists. Silvertips goaltender Alex Garrett stopped 32 shots.
