The year-end is fast approaching for investors, and the waters are getting rocky. Stocks experienced their first growth scare in early August as recession fears resurfaced out of the blue. Markets stabilized by month’s end. But the one-two punch of disappointing earnings from AI darling Nvidia and weakening US economic data has markets back in a tizzy in September.
That is a very good thing, because if it accelerates into the fourth quarter, it's likely to accelerate even more year.I can go on and on and on, but my hand starts running off the screen.That's when you hear from we will hear from NVIDIA again.They're supposed to see sequential double digit growth.And not only, uh, likely justifies the valuation the company has received.So I just need to get that off my chest, because it is wild times and all thing.
I mean, this is probably a good opportunity if you're a longer term investor to start kicking the tyres in some of these names.That seemed to be kind of the right attitude, and I probably have to add, and I know it's I don't know. Yeah, no, that That's a super interesting question, because what we've seen is, uh, every strategist on the street last year was forecasting, uh, like, so So So we we have higher interest rate target policy.Uh, so that's not moving.So, yes, economy is not that very sensible.But now, market is, by the way, convinced that the opposite will happen on the way down.So I'm actually quite sceptical about that.
Yeah, I feel like earnings season is always, like a really good time to get a kind of good like take a pulse of the economy what Corporates are doing. But if we see if we look at where they are financed, a lot of it is finance on my credit card and kind of expensive debt, so that that that's that's probably kind of the next to drop.So I'm based in Milan, in Italy.So we we we already see that in Europe.They don't have that worldview.That is of concern to you or of opportunity that maybe US investors don't understand or they're not even looking at right now because they're so obsessed with NVIDIA.
And the fascinating conclusion right now is that market, particularly in the last month or so probably longer. So So the good way of thinking about this model is, uh, So what is important, What is the driver of of the market.
