Each team is grouped with four others who they will play once in the group stage.The winners of each group advance automatically to the quarter-finals, along with the two best finishers who didn’t win their group, one from each conference .The last team standing earns the NBA Cup and there will also be an MVP named.Article content

The other groups consist of Philadelphia, Cleveland, Atlanta, Indiana and Detroit ; Milwaukee, New York, Miami, Washington, Charlotte ; Memphis, Phoenix, Los Angeles Lakers, Utah, Portland ; Denver, Los Angeles Clippers, Utah, Portland ; and Sacramento, Golden State, Minnesota, Oklahoma City and San Antonio .We apologize, but this video has failed to load.

The regular schedule will resume on Dec. 11. Before then, each player on the winning team will collect a $500,000 bonus with $200,000 going to every player on the runner-up, $100,000 to each of the semifinal losers and $50,000 to everyone who lost in the quarter-finals.
