Starting Saturday, January 25th, the Northern Ontario men's and women's provincial curling championships continue at the Port Arthur Curling Centre with games taking place at 9:30 a.m., 2 p.m., and 7 p.m. Witness the best curlers in the region battle for provincial glory.

If you're looking for something a bit more creative, head over to Wazison Arts, a new arts venue, for the Makers Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Browse unique handcrafted goods and support local artists.For sports fans, Saturday night promises a doubleheader. The Lakehead Thunderwolves volleyball team concludes their weekend series against the York Lions at 6 p.m. at the Thunderdome. Then, catch the Lakehead Thunderwolves hockey team as they take on the Ottawa Gee-Gees at the Fort William Gardens at 7 p.m. For a dose of laughter, check out Cambrian Players Theatre's improv show with the Cambrian Improv troupe featuring the possibility of mature language and suggestive content.
