Post offices are closed, and there will be no regular mail delivery.The Columbus Parking Services Division is closed, and parking is free in areas where you must normally pay via kiosk, parking apps or at meters that are still left. However, parking restriction signage will be enforced. That includes, but is not limited to, parking bans during morning and evening rush hours and zones marked for valets, taxis, loading, handicapped-only and residential parking permit zones.
Ohio State University and Columbus State Community College campuses are closed.Central Ohio Transit Authority will operate on a regular service schedule and provide free rides to all active and retired military personnel on Friday. For customers to receive this benefit, they can provide military-issued identification to the transit operator when boarding, wear a veterans hat or article of clothing, or they can verbally identify as a veteran or member of the military.
