Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are reportedly getting cold feet about their still-unconfirmed Netflix docuseries. And it could cause the project to be scrapped for good — just like Markle’s animated series with the streamer
, the duo is rumored to be requesting major edits to the footage, which has put the entire project in jeopardy. Many assume the footage includes discussion of the couple’s strained relationship with the royal family, which they may want to edit now that King Charles III, Harry’s father, is sitting on the throne. According to asource, they are trying to “downplay much of what they have said about King Charles III, Queen Consort Camilla, and the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Netflix is reportedly supporting the docuseries director, Liz Garbus, and there remains hope the show could be released in December or early 2023. “Netflix has made it clear that the project is going forward,” a source told “Meanwhile, Harry is reportedly in talks with the publishers of his highly anticipated memoir in the hopes of editing his thoughts on the royal family in light of his grandmother’s death.
