Alabama football coaches Nick Sheridan and JaMarcus Shephard shared their thoughts Saturday about Ryan Williams.

The freshman receiver continues to receive strong feedback during preseason camp, even though he’s supposed to be a senior in high school for the fall of 2024.Williams is still quite early in his Alabama career. Three practices in, to be exact. And only one has been in shoulder pads. He joined the Crimson Tide ahead of the summer. But he hasn’t taken long to make an impression on the coaching staff.

“You can coach that kid any kind of way you want to, and he responds to it at a high level,” Shephard said.
