Weyburn\u0027s Tenille Arts has been nominated for CCMA entertainer of the year, female artist of the year, and Amazon Music/Alexa Fans’ Choice.
Arts, a rising star in country music, has been nominated for three major CCMA awards in 2022: Entertainer of the year, female artist of the year, and Amazon Music and Alexa Fans’ Choice.
The other fans’ choice nominees are: Dean Brody, Jade Eagleson, High Valley, James Barker Band, Brett Kissel, Tyler Joe Miller, Robyn Ottolini, Dallas Smith, and Tenille Townes.Arts is slated to be the Saturday night headliner at this year’s Queen City Exhibition . She’ll be performing on the Original 16 outdoor stage at Confederation Park on Aug. 6.
Meanwhile, the Hunter Brothers, who are from Shaunavon, also received a pair of 2022 CCMA nominations: Group or duo of the year, and interactive artist or group of the year.The CCMA awards ceremony is slated for Sept. 11 at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary. It’s also to be broadcast live on Global TV.
