FREDERICTON, N.B. — WestJet has announced the return of non-stop, twice-weekly seasonal service between Fredericton and Calgary, set to begin on June 20 and continuing until Oct. 28.
This route aims to enhance tourism and business opportunities, strengthening connectivity between Atlantic Canada and WestJet's global hub in Calgary.
The flight Tuesday and Thursday schedule includes departures from Calgary to Fredericton at 9:15 a.m., arriving at 5 p.m. local time, and return flights from Fredericton to Calgary departing at 5:50 p.m., with arrival in Alberta at 8:05 p.m.Andrew Gibbons, WestJet Vice-President of External Affairs, emphasized the airline's commitment to expanding service in Atlantic Canada, with strong community support for east-to-west connectivity.
