Gibbons said a direct flight to the U.S. Midwest was a “missing link” for Saskatoon and needed to be put in place in the interest of opening up new economic opportunities. Saskatchewan’s Minister of Trade and Export Development, Jeremy Harrison, said the new service is vital to Saskatchewan’s economic growth.
