Wellington Dukes win big against Cobourg Cougars
The Wellington Dukes thumped the Cobourg Cougars 9 to 2 on Friday night.
Ryan Cutler, Nolan Mozer, Jacob Vreugdenhill, Lucas LaPalm, Luke Strickland, Jared Langdon, Julien Jacob, and Graeme MacAuley scored for the Dukes. The Dukes began with an explosive start, scoring 3 back to back goals in quick succession just 9 minutes into the first period. The Cougars came back to score one before the period ended. The Dukes kept the pressure on, taking 3 more goals in the second, and then 3 more again in the third, while the Cougars earned just one more goal, leaving the Dukes with a commanding lead at the end of the game.
