YARMOUTH, N.S. — There’s lots of buzz around the region about a weekly Friday night market that is starting on May 24 on the Yarmouth waterfront.

“One of the most amazing markets was in Victoria, B.C. – the Ship Point Market," Kitney says. With rows of vendors’ tents along the pier, it has served as the inspiration for the Passengers arriving in Yarmouth on the CAT ferry won’t have far to go to attend the weekly Friday night market being staged on the marginal wharf adjacent to the ferry terminal every Friday night from 6 to 10 p.m. starting May 24 until September.
