With all this sunshine and lack of rain, temperatures will rise this weekend and continue upward into next week
The damp weather has ended and the sunshine returns in full force this weekend. A weather feature aloft, called an upper ridge, moves into Northern Ontario to block the risk of rainfall for at least another ten days.
Friday will be sunny, with temperatures near 21°C. A northwest breeze will keep locations close to Lake Superior several degrees cooler.Warmer air pushes into the region on Sunday as daytime highs reach 27°C under sunny skies. The sunny weather continues for all of next week as temperatures climb to 30°C.
