Week of mild weather expected in Harrisburg region: forecasters

Warm temperatures and a slight chance of showers are anticipated for the coming week.

Warm temperatures and a chance of summer thunderstorms are anticipated for the coming week in the Harrisburg region, according to the National Weather Service.

Sunday’s high of 79 degrees will be followed by a high of 83 on Monday, the NWS is projecting, with the rest of the week’s temperatures hovering in the upper 70s to low 80s, and nightly lows in the 60s. Periodic showers and thunderstorms are possible starting Tuesday afternoon and lasting through the rest of the week, according to the NWS.
