San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Mike Evans is expected to play in Week 3 against the Arizona Cardinals, ESPN reported. Evans has been limited during the week by a hip injury. San Francisco's receiving depth has been decimated by injuries early this season. Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins could be available for their Week 4 game against the Dallas Cowboys, ESPN reported.
Ravens WR Zay Flowers will test hamstring before game in Brazil Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers will test his hamstring in a workout before the game against the Dallas Cowboys in Brazil, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported. Flowers' availability is considered a game-time decision. He is expected to push to play but the team is not counting on him being available, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported.
Los Angeles Rams star pass rusher Myles Garrett could remain sidelined from knee surgery until nearly the halfway point of the season, Garrett was given a six-week timeline after his knee surgery, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported. That could potentially keep him out until the Rams' Week 9 game against the Washington Commanders on Nov. 8. Garrett is "determined to beat the timeline," but the Rams want to be cautious with his recovery, Rapoport reported.
Garrett has a minimum four-game stint on the IR, which means the earliest he could return is Week 6 against the Arizona Cardinals on Oct. 18.. The knee had bothered him throughout training camp and the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year didn't record a single tackle against the 49ers. Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers is expected to play against the New Orleans Saints, ESPN reported.
The week had appeared to be trending in a positive direction for Bowers, who underwent a surprising knee surgery ahead of Week 1. AfterThe team also did not elevate TE Chris Myarick from the practice squad, as they had in each of the past two weeks with Bowers inactive. Steelers wide receiver Michael Pittman, who was listed as questionable for Week 3, is expected to be in the lineup, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported.
