Webber Academy loses latest appeal of Muslim prayer order yyc

“The appellant and the entire Webber Academy school community were able to continue to freely associate with one another in a non-denominational educational environment that was welcoming of all faiths and cultures,” two of the three justices wrote. A third did not participate in the final decision.The dispute was triggered in February 2012 when the parents of two students denied a space to pray at the school filed complaints with the Alberta Human Rights Commission.
