The Web Developer will build and maintain secure, high-performance web platforms using PHP , MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and WordPress, handling both front- and back-end development, optimising processes, and delivering creative technical solutions within an Agile and collaborative environment.
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a diploma in Web Development with courses covering both front-end and back-end development.Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and WordPress.Understanding of project management tools and frameworks, including Kanban boards, sprints, and Scrum.Strong analytical thinking, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to grasp complex concepts.Good verbal and written communication skills.Develop and maintain user-friendly web-based platforms to provide an efficient user experience.Conduct research and experiment with new technologies to find creative solutions for the media industry.Ensure web-based platforms function at high speed and use available resources effectively.Establish good development practices based on Agile principles.
