Cold front expected to sweep in quickly late this afternoon bringing rapidly falling temperatures
Environment Canada is warning that a cold front expected to sweep across the region later this afternoon will create the conditions for a flash freeze.
“A cold front will sweep across the region later today,” the warning states. “Temperatures are forecast to fall rapidly behind the front. Ponding water, slush, and any falling precipitation will freeze as the temperature drops.”
