Watch SNL host J.J. Watt chuck a shoe at Kyle Mooney's face in new promo
The bit begins with Mooney questioning Watt, who is a defensive end for the NFL’s Houston Texans, about football and how many tackles he’s made . Mooney attempts to catch Watt by surprise by throwing a water bottle at the football star, to prove that he’s “a real athlete.”
Mooney continues to chuck as many random items as he can find at Watt, but the joke is on him when Watt returns the favor by throwing a shoe right into Mooney’s face. Ultimately, the two hug it out and walk off hand-in-hand.on Feb. 1, with Luke Combs as musical guest. This is Watt’s first time hosting the sketch comedy show, which airs at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
