The video indicates that the driver was skilled behind the wheel but the Camry wasn't fast enough to get away
Running from the police is never a good idea but in this video, we see that poor choice compounded by two others. The driver decided to run in an everyday Toyota Camry and did so in wet conditions. It didn't end well for him. This video actually documents a chase that occurred around noon on December 21st back in 2021. Only now do we have video from the officer's dashcam though and it's harrowing.
be/175mMidyfwY?si=84Smy1ttIaml8k7K When the driver exited the I-95 highway and jumped onto GA 144 police moved in for a PIT maneuver. He attempts to make a hard U-turn but ends up surrounded. Multiple police cars hit the Toyota and the suspect flees into the woods. Officers give chase and apprehend him minutes later. Amazingly it appears that nobody ended up hurt despite reported speeds of 120-130 mph during the pursuit. Of course, the driver's criminal record took quite the hit.
