MP delivers an absolute mic drop to Sammy Wilson of the DUP
Throughout the Brexit process, DUP MP Sammy Wilson has had a fewfor Leo Varadkar and the Irish government, but today Wilson was on the receiving end of a hard jab.
On Wednesday morning, Wilson was asked to give his testimony to a parliamentary committee on Northern Ireland — which has been without a devolved government for over two years now — and the problems it will face in the result of a no deal Brexit. Independent MP Sylvia Hermon was given her chance to question the DUP man, and she wasted no time in taking a shot at him, saying"Thank you so much for coming here to give us your... I was going to say words of wisdom, but, your evidence."Sylvia Hermon absolutely bodied Sammy Wilson on the NI committee just now."Thank you for giving us your - I was going to say words of wisdom... your evidence.
