After stints playing for a few different bands, Eatherly formed Public Access T.V. in 2014 with three of his friends and they produced two albums over four years. But things were not as collaborative as they may have seemed. “Public Access T.V. was almost like a solo project,” he explains. “I really wanted to do the idea of a band of four dudes who are best friends because that’s the stuff I loved as a teenager. I loved the 70s New York bands like The Ramones.
