Watch CarrieUnderwood surprise elementary school choir ahead of CMAFest performance

The third- and fourth-graders from Old Hickory, Tenn., caught the attention of Underwood with their video performing her song "Champion" earlier this year. As a recipient of the CMA Foundation's grant to ensure music education for every child, the choir got the opportunity to perform at this year's CMA Fest.
"You guys are going to be so amazing," Underwood gushes in a sweet video of her surprise visit. "That crowd is not going to know what hit 'em." Directed by three-time CMA Foundation Music Teacher of Excellence winner Franklin Willis, the choir performed in front of 50,000 people at Nissan Stadium in Nashville on June 9.
